Groups of 10 or more can make reservations for private programs by completing the reservation form and faxing it to (212) 668-2899. Reservations are available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Groups must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. For more information about group reservations, call (212) 825-6990.
First capitol building of the United States of America, and was the site of George Washington's 1789 inauguration as the first President of the United States. It was also where the United States Bill of Rights was ratified. The building was demolished in 1812.

Located on Wall Street, George Washington took the oath of office as our first President, and this site was home to the first Congress, Supreme Court, and Executive Branch offices. The current structure, a Customs House, later served as part of the US Sub-Treasury.
